The Halls Standard Cold Frame is a high-quality, durable, and maintenance-free cold frame perfect for gardeners of all levels. Made from sturdy aluminium framework, this cold frame is rot and rust proof, ensuring it will withstand the elements and provide years of reliable service.
The cold frame is made with a sturdy aluminium framework, making it rot and rust proof. The cold frame is delivered with 3mm toughened safety glass as standard, which means that if broken, the glass will break into small blunt fragments – rather than breaking into sharp pieces.
The cold frame has a single sloping roof which facilitates rain runoff and maximises sunlight exposure. This design helps maintain an optimal growing environment for plants inside. It includes two lift-up sliding lids that provide easy access to the plants for watering, monitoring growth, or adjusting ventilation as needed.
Ideal for overwintering, protecting tender plants from harsh Winter weather, and is perfect for early Spring, getting a head start on the growing season by using the cold frame to harden off plants.
