Description
The Elite GX800 Package Deal is a comprehensive offering, which includes additional products such as shelving and staging, automatic ventilation and other related products. The centrepiece of the package is the GX800 greenhouse itself which boasts a range of standard features. However, the package deal adds to the greenhouse, with automatic ventilation, rainwater kit, grow hooks, staging and shelving. Everything necessary to start growing and work out cheaper than buying the products separately!
The standard features alone of this greenhouse ensures it is a popular choice for serious growers who want it all! The GX model is available in 6ft wide (GX600) and 8ft wide. The GX range include Titan bars at the gable and door ends, as well as cantilevers, so are immensely strong.
Base:
Built with flat cills, no base is required on the GX collection. A hard standing platform is still required.
Doors:
The GX800 Package is supplied with low threshold double doors, with a handle, lock and key.
Glass:
The greenhouse is equipped with 4mm toughened safety glass as standard.
Roof Vents & Louvres:
The GX800 greenhouse is equipped with at least one double roof vent and two 5-blade louvres, the number increases with the size of greenhouse:
- 4ft & 6ft long with one double roof vent, two 5-blade louvres
- 8ft, 10ft & 12ft long with two double roof vents, two 5-blade louvres
- 14ft & 16ft long with four double roof vents, two 5-blade louvres
- 18ft & 20ft long with six double roof vents, two 5-blade louvres
Automatic Ventilation:
With the GX800 package deal, one Bayliss MK7 automatic roof vent opener is included, as well as two automatic louvre openers. The automated openers will ensure that your vents open and close automatically, depending on the temperature, keeping your plants ventilated appropriately. Additional openers can be added to your order, if needed.
Shelving/Staging:
As well as the standard feature of one 8ft, 2-slat shelf (for the rear of the greenhouse), one 7-slat diamond staging and one 2-slat diamond shelves are included with the package deal. If you choose the greenhouse to be powder-coated, the shelving will be colour-matched, or you can choose plain aluminium, if you prefer.
Rainwater Collection:
The greenhouse is provided with integral gutters that collect rainwater from the roof, preventing runoff and allowing for efficient collection. A standard rainwater kit, which includes downpipes that connect directly to the integral gutters and collect rainwater into storage tanks or water butts is also included in the package deal.
Bar Capping:
Bar capping is a standard feature of the GX800 greenhouse. It provides a stronger hold for the glass against the frame, plus the rubber fin makes for a better water seal and is a way of hiding the clips, providing a neater finish on your greenhouse.
Powder Coating:
Greenhouses are supplied in aluminium as standard. However, Elite have a varied range of powder-coating colours to choose from; mocha, brown, graphite, white, olive, green, black, berry, stone and navy.
Grow Hooks:
Elite Grow Hooks are included with the package deal. They serve as attachment points for lightweight supports used in plant development, such as tomato strings. Apart from tomato strings, the hooks can be used to support other lightweight structures or materials that aid in plant growth and maintenance.
Cresting & Finials:
Cresting & Finials are used to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. Cresting refers to ornamental ridge tiles or other decorative elements along the ridge of a roof, while finials are decorative ornaments typically found at the gable top. They can also serve as a deterrent against cats and birds. They are provided in aluminium as standard or can be powder coated to match your greenhouse.
