Description
The Bayliss MK7 Auto Opener is a solar-powered vent control system designed specifically for greenhouse ventilation, converting sunlight into mechanical energy, allowing it to open and close vents based on temperature changes. It operates automatically without the need for electricity, making it an eco-friendly solution for maintaining optimal temperatures within greenhouses. It lifts framed vents measuring up to 60cm square (2ft square), lifting a load of up to 6kg (14lbs).
The opener can be set to start opening at temperatures between 12°C and 24°C. This feature ensures that as the greenhouse heats up, the vents will open wider to facilitate cooling. The Bayliss MK7 provides a maximum opening distance of 12 inches (30cm).
Installation:
The product comes with full instructions for easy installation and operation. The standard Mk 7 autovent is supplied in a satin anodised finish. Installing the Bayliss MK7 Auto Opener is straightforward. The package includes all necessary screws and illustrated instructions for easy assembly. Simply attach the top arm of the opener to the vent and secure the bottom arm to the greenhouse frame.
This design allows for a neat installation close to the vent without protruding excessively into the greenhouse space.
Operation:
To adjust temperature settings, users can adjust a threaded bolt on the opener to set when it should begin opening based on desired temperature thresholds.
Warranty:
All Bayliss products, including the automatic roof vent opener, are guaranteed for two years against faulty manufacture. These products are meticulously designed and rigorously tested to ensure longevity and durability. Additionally, they are fully serviceable, allowing for maintenance and repairs as needed to prolong their lifespan.
The auto openers can be added to a greenhouse order, or ordered separately as a spare/accessory. When added to a greenhouse order, they will be delivered with your greenhouse.
